Install it
- Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download the APK.
- When it's downloaded, open it from the notification, or from Downloads in your Files app.
- If Android says your browser can't install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
- Tap Install, then open Terminus and sign in with the Farcaster account you already have.
Android warns about any app that doesn't come from a store; that's expected for an APK. If Play Protect offers to scan it, let it.
Updates
An APK doesn't update itself. When there's a new version, download it from this page again and install it over the old one; you stay signed in and keep your settings. The download link always has the newest version, so an updater like Obtainium can watch it for you.
You can also switch to Google Play: once it has a newer version than yours, open Terminus's page there and tap Update. The APK is signed with the same key as the Play version, so Google Play keeps it up to date from then on, and you don't lose anything.
Check the file
The APK is the one Google Play makes from our release, signed with Terminus's Google Play signing key. To check a download, compare these with your file:
